FAQs:
1) What happens if myself or my partner cannot make it on a Monday night?
A) No problem. You will have to make up the match BEFORE the following Monday night. I will have printed scorecards for your round for that week with the strokes already on the cards. Just play your round and turn your card in. I'll update the points and update the leader board.
2) So what happens if myself or my partner are out of town and will not be able to make up the round?
A) Two things can happen here. 1. Your team forfeits and 9 points (1 point per hole) will be awarded to your opponents. 2. If one of your team members can play, they can go against the other team as a solo.
3) How are we doing the handicaps this year?
A) We are using your CDGA handicaps this year and I will enter them into BlueGolf to determine your course handicaps. The lowest handicap in the match will be the scratch guy and the other 3 players will stroke off of him.
4) What if I don't have a CDGA handicap?
A) Two things can happen. 1. We can make your handicap the same as your partner's handicap minus 1 stroke. So if your partner is a 7, you would be a 6. This may not seem fair but playing good golf without having a handicap is also not fair. 2. You will have to show up to 3 preseason Monday nights and I will have to calculate a handicap based off of those rounds. Not ideal.
